The workshops are organized and coordinated by Carol Giambalvo, a thought reform consultant, former member of a controversial group, and author/editor of Family Interventions for Cult-Affected Loved Ones and The Boston Movement: Critical Perspectives on the International Churches of Christ (Herbert L. Rosedale, co-editor).
Ms. Giambalvo serves ICSA as Director of Recovery Programs, which include workshops, special publications, professional liaison, and outreach.
Facility Overview:
Nestled in the foothills of the Rockies just north of Colorado Springs, the Franciscan Retreat Center provides panoramic views of the Rampart Range, Mount Cedar, and Mount St. Francis. Beautifully maintained lawns provide plenty of room for outdoor activities for your group. You will find numerous spots for quiet reflection, meditation or personal conversations. Wildlife also finds the Franciscan Retreat Center a place of peace and welcome.

Marian Hall is an exquisite example of how the architects of this facility chose to use native Aspen, which opens onto a lovely courtyard, houses a comfortable meeting room for small to mid-sized groups.
