2000: Cults and the Millennium
Conference Speakers
When: April 28-30,2000
Where: Seattle, WA
AFF (American Family Foundation), the leading professional organization
concerned about cults and psychological manipulation, was founded 20 years ago
in 1979. AFF is known for its professionalism, for building its practical
educational services for families, former group members, helping professionals,
educators, young people, and the public on a base of scholarly study and
research.
This year’s conference reflects AFF’s breadth and depth of understanding by
examining social issues, scientific research, and practical needs of all who are
interested in this subject.
The theme of the conference is "Cults and the Millennium."
In accordance with this theme, the conference will include a program of lectures
and discussions on millennial groups, including racist movements.
The conference is supplemented by pre-conference workshops and educational
events.
Conference Events
The conference will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Friday and end at 5:00 p.m. on
Saturday.
We will have an informal social Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m
