José Antonio Carrobles, Ph.D.

 

José Antonio Carrobles, Ph.D., is Full Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology and past Head of the Department of Biological and Health Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. His work focuses in the areas of Psychopathology and Clinical and Health Psychology. He is President of the European Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). He has directed numerous Doctoral Theses and is author of an important number and variety of articles and books in his areas of specialization. He has organized and participated in numerous national and international psychology congresses, among which stands out his participation as President of the Scientific Committee at the "23rd International Congress of Applied Psychology" held in Madrid in 1994. He is member of the Editorial Boards of several national and international journals.

José Antonio Carrobles, Ph.D., es Catedrático de Psicología del área de “Personalidad, Evaluación y Tratamiento psicológico” y ex Director del Departamento de Psicología Biológica y de la Salud de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Su trabajo se ha centrado en las áreas de Psicopatología y Psicología  Clínica y de la Salud. Presidente de la European Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). Ha dirigido un gran número de Tesis Doctorales y es autor de un importante número y variedad de artículos y libros en su área de especialización. Ha organizado y participado en numerosos Congresos nacionales e internacionales de Psicología, entre los que destaca su participación como Presidente del Comité Científico del "23rd International Congress of Applied Psychology" celebrado en Madrid en 1994. Es miembro del Consejo Editorial de varias revistas nacionales e internacionales.
