Pedro Castón Boyer, Ph.D., is
Professor and Director of the
Department of Sociology at the
University of Granada, Spain. He
received the Doctor of Sociology
from the École des Hautes Études en
Sciences Sociales in Paris. He has
been a visiting scholar at Oxford
University and a visiting professor
at the Gregorian University in Rome
and at the Metropolitan University
of Technology (UTEM) in Santiago,
Chile. He has directed numerous
research projects and has over a
hundred publications and many
conference presentations.
