Luis de la Corte

Luis de la Corte is assistant professor of Social Psychology at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. His work focuses in the areas of Political Violence, with special emphasis on terrorism, social psychology, and the history and theory of the social sciences. He is author of several books about political violence, including Memoria de un Compromiso. La Psicología social de Ignacio Martín-Baró (Memory of a commitment. The Social Psychology of Ignacio Martín-Baró), about the civil war in El Salvador 1981-1992, and Psicología y derechos humanos (Psychology and Human Rights). Currently, he is preparing two books: La lógica del terrorismo (The Logic of Terrorism) and Terrorismo yihadista (Terrorism and Jihad).

Luis de la Corte es profesor de Psicología social en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Sus investigaciones están orientadas a la violencia política, con particular énfasis el terrorismo, la Psicología social, y diversas cuestiones sobre historia y teoría de las ciencias sociales. Es autor de varios libros sobre violencia política como "Memoria de un Compromiso. La Psicología social de Ignacio Martín-Baró", sobre la guerra civil en El Salvador durante los años ochenta del pasado siglo XX y "Psicología y derechos humanos". En la actualidad trabaja en dos textos: La lógica del terrorismo y Terrorismo yihadista
