Dan Fefferman is a current member of the Unification Church and the director
of the International Coalition for Religious Freedom. Having joined the church
in 1968, he later graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and
the Unification Theological Seminary. He is a former national president of the
UC's youth arm, CARP, and also formerly headed the church's efforts in support
of then-president Richard Nixon. He was the chief editor of the first edition of
the Divine Principle in English and several other UC movement publications. Dan
lives in the Washington DC area with his wife and two daughters.
