Paul Glanville, M.D.
Paul Glanville, M.D., has done mostly "missionary" medicine within the USA
for the last 27 years. He has two papers published in Journal of Biblical Ethics
in Medicine concerning insurance fraud and his "vision" for providing low-cost
medical care to people in need. In 1992, he and his family joined a church
community that rapidly progressed to what he considers to be an abusive,
authoritarian cult. Dr. Glanville found secret doctrine among leaders that is
extremely aberrant ("Identity" and "Manifest Sons of God" along with many other
"peripheral" beliefs). After about two years of private meetings with leaders,
Dr. Glanville was "excommunicated" in 1997. His wife and five children remain in
the group. His wife has just recently filed for divorce.
