Edward Antrim Lottick, M. D.
Edward Antrim Lottick,
M.D., has been a cultic studies student for
18 years. He retired from 35 years of active
medical practice in 2000. Since then he has
completed four years of advanced French at
King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and has
taught an advanced psychology elective on
American Cults at the college every other year
for the past eight years. In 1992, he surveyed
5400 Pennsylvania physicians about their
personal and professional experience with cults;
in 2004, he surveyed 3000 Pennsylvania
psychologists regarding similar experience; and
in 2007, he surveyed over 1000 Pennsylvania
legislators, district attorneys, and judges
regarding similar experience. Two years ago, he
published “The Forgotten Freedom,” The Torch,
79(3), 26-30, 2006, and is working on a book
on a related topic. He recently translated from
French to English, the legislation on fraudulent
abuse of vulnerable persons introduced in 2006
to the Belgian Parliament. He is also active on
a number of boards. He recently discovered he is
listed fairly accurately when last checked on
Wikipedia under “Edward Lottick.”
