Jose Manuel Martinez Garcia
has a Ph.D. in Psychology and is a
Lecturer in the Social Psychology
and Methodology Department at
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He
has obtained the following: 2nd
Award of the 8th Edition of Research
Awards of the Economic and Social
Council of Madrid Community from the
Autonomic Community of Madrid
(2006); 1st Award “Virgilio Palacio”
(2004). He is the author of national
and international publications about
risk behaviors, juvenile violence
and organ donation, including
co-author of “Risk behaviors:
violence, sexual risk behavior and
illegal drug consumption among
youth” (1998) and “Organ donation
and family decision-taking within
the Spanish donation system” (2001)
among others.
José Manuel Martínez García, es doctor en Psicología y profesor del Dpto. de
Psicología Social de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Autor de publicaciones
nacionales e internacionales sobre la temática de comportamiento de riesgo y
violencia juveniles y la donación de órganos. Coautor de “Comportamientos de
riesgo: violencia, prácticas sexuales de riesgo y consumo de drogas ilegales en
la juventud” (1998) y de “Organ donation and family decision-taking within the
Spanish donation system” (2001).
