Kimiaki Nishida, Ph.D., is Professor of Social Psychology in the Department of Psychology, Rissho University in Japan.  He is also President of the Japan Society of Cult Prevention and Recovery. He is a leading Japanese cultic studies scholar and a standing director of the Japanese Group Dynamics Association. His studies on psychological manipulation by cults were awarded prizes by several academic societies in Japan. And he has served as an expert for some courts seeking an explanation of "cult mind control."
