Mary O'Connell

Mary O'Connell was a member of SGI, a Buddhist-based lay organization. She was a member for almost twenty years. Kept continually busy by group needs, everything was sacrificed to the reputed goal of the group: world peace. In recovery and in therapy she feels that, because of the therapy, this potentially devastating experience is the occasion now for a deep and meaningful investigation of her life and an opportunity, in middle age, to build a new life.
