Dr. Belén Ordoñez, a psychologist, has a Master's degree in Behavioral
Treatment in Health Psychology. She is also criminologist. She works in the
Ministry of Justice in Spain, where she is the chief of the office for
victims of crime. She developed a program for the psychological and legal
assistance of victims in the Ministry of Justice. Also, she is professor of
criminology at Universidad de Avila. She is the author of several
articles, and she has participated in a variety of National Psychology and
Criminology conferences. Her work focuses in the areas of violence against women
and legal mediation.
