Adriana Pacheco. Originally from Mexico where she worked as an editor, Ms.
Pacheco immigrated to Montreal where she first worked as a translator, then
started undergraduate studies in criminology at the University of Montreal,
where she is now pursuing her Ph.D. As part of her research work, she is
interested in crimes committed by non-delinquent individuals or groups who,
owing to their religious beliefs, claim virtuous and altruistic reasons for
abusive or criminal actions. She is a student in the department of Criminology
at the University of Montreal under the supervision of Dr Dianne Casoni.
