Elizabeth Perry BA, ECE, CAE, was a member of
the Emissaries of Divine Light from 1985 – 2001
in Canada. After leaving the group she focused
on her recovery and exploring the causes of her
susceptibility. Elizabeth has her own company,
Leadership by Example Consulting, where as an
adult educator, she helps people define and
assert their autonomy and their understanding of
authority and credibility with public audiences.
Elizabeth coaches others leaving high-demand
groups when possible. Her ultimate goal for
reclaiming her life is to acquire her Masters in
Psychology, which she is working towards through
self-directed study.
