Andrew Skolnick, M.S., a science and medical journalist, has a distinguished career in which he has covered religiously motivated medical neglect of children. He was recently awarded an inaugural Rosalynn Carter Fellowship in Mental Health Journalism. He has won other journalism awards, including World Hunger Year’s 1996 Harry Chapin Media Award.
