Jacqueline Slowey

developmental disabilities
in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
She co authored the paper
“Illegitimate Pain:
Institutional Dimensions”
with J. Scott Kenney.
Jacqueline is a former
student of Grenville
Christian College, a
controversial (now closed)
boarding school with
connections to The Community
Of Jesus. Her experiences
at this school led to her
interests in mental and
spiritual abuse.
