Itaru Takesako is a parson
at the Shirakawa Church, belonging
to the United Church of Christ in
Japan. He is an ex-member of the
Unification Church. He offers
counseling to ex-members of
controversial groups and their
families. He runs a residential
rehabilitation centre for ex-members
in Fukushima prefecture, a second of
the kind in Japan, but is now
seeking for a new location as the
old building has to be torn down. He
is a board member of The Japan
Society for Cult Prevention and
Recovery and is trusted by the
members of National Network of
Lawyers against Spiritual Sales.
