Laura A. Weber, M.A.
Laura A. Weber, M.A., is a psychotherapist living in Baltimore, MD,
where she is currently working as a disability examiner for the Social Security
Administration. Born in 1971, she holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a
Master's degree in counseling. Ms. Weber has worked with ex-members of abusive
groups and their families since 1994. She was a member of the International
Churches of Christ (Boston Movement) from 1992-1993, when her family arranged a
successful exit counseling. She has been active in such organizations as the
Cult Awareness Network (CAN) and the International Cultic Studies Association
(ICSA) since 1994. She also worked as a residential rehabilitation counselor at
Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center in 2005.
